Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured during a road traffic collision in Marble Arch.
Officers were called at 10:50hrs on Friday, 25 August to reports of a collision at Marble Arch, W1, outside the train station.
A car was reported to have been in collision with a HGV lorry which then struck a male cyclist on the pavement as he was securing his bike.
The cyclist - [no further details] - suffered a serious leg injury as a result.
London's Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
The cyclist is currently in a central London hospital. His injuries are described as life changing.
No arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.
Detectives from the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating.
DC Amanda Hawke, from the SCIU, said: "We really need to understand more about what happened and hear from anyone who saw this collision, anyone with footage, particularly dashcam should contact our incident room number."
