Appeal after man attacked with pint glass in east London pub

Detectives in Hackney are appealing to identify a man they wish to speak to in connection with a violent assault.

The incident happened on Thursday, 13 April at about 19:45hrs in the Three Crowns Public House, East Road, N1

The 27-year-old victim was playing darts with a friend when, in violent and totally unprovoked attack, the suspect picked up a pint glass from the bar and smashed it into the victim's face.

The male victim received a wound to the left side of his face, which required a number of stitches at hospital.

The incident was captured on CCTV, but extensive enquiries have failed to identify the suspect.

The suspect is a white male, aged in his late 30s and about 5ft 8ins.
