Appeal after motorcylist dies following collision in Hounslow

Detectives are appealing for information after a 50-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision in Hounslow.

At approximately 17:40hrs on Monday, 4 March, Police were called to reports of a collision involving a van and a motorcycle on the A312, The Parkway, near junction 3 with the M4, Hounslow.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the rider of the motorcycle - a 50-year-old man - was taken to a central London hospital for treatment; he died there later that day.

The driver of the van stopped at the scene. He has not been arrested and is assisting police with their investigation.

Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to deal and are specifically appealing to motorists with dashcam footage who were in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
