Appeal after woman injured in collision, Enfield

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision in Enfield that left a woman seriously injured.

Officers were called at approximately 15:10hrs on Friday, 11 January to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian in Totteridge Road.

London Ambulance Service attended and the pedestrian, a 77-year-old woman, was taken to an east London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

Her next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car, a black Kia Sportage, stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

There have been no arrests.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Chadwell Heath investigate.
