Detectives investigating an incident in which a man and a woman were shot in Wood Green have charged a man.
Kenloy Clarke, 33 (17.01.86), of Birkbeck Road, N8, was arrested on Friday, 20 September and charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
He is due to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Corner on Saturday, 21 September.
Police were called at around 21:50hrs on Tuesday, 17 September, to reports of a shooting on Lordship Lane near Wood Green High Road.
Officers attended along with ambulance colleagues, however those involved had left the scene.
A short time later, a 46-year-old-woman and a 31-year-old-man presented themselves at hospital.
The woman had sustained a gunshot injury. She remains in hospital, where her condition is critical.
The 31-year-old man also had a gunshot injury; this was not as serious and he has since been discharged from hospital.
