Appeal following burglary in Barnet

Detectives have released CCTV footage of two men they want to trace in connection with a burglary at a family home in Barnet.

On Sunday, 1 April at around 17:50hrs, police were called to a residential address on South Close in Barnet.

The burglary occurred whilst the occupants were on holiday and was discovered by their pet-sitter.

Two men forced entry to the side gate of the address on the same day between 10:00 and 17:00hrs, walking to the rear of the property and forcing entry to a window.

Once inside, they searched the house and took a large number of items from the living room area and the bedrooms.

CCTV footage taken from the address shows the men in the living room searching for items.

Suspect 1 was wearing a green jacket, dark cap, grey trousers and black trainers with white soles.

Suspect 2 was wearing a grey fleece and black trousers.
