Appeal following serious collision in Lambeth

Officers from the Serious Collisions Investigations Unit (SCIU) are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on Kennington Road junction with Wincott Street.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly after 12:15hrs on Friday, 29 June to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and lorry.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man was taken to a south London hospital with a serious leg injury.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.

They would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision occur, or who may have dash cam footage.
