Appeal following serious collision in Plaistow

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for information after a motorcyclist was left seriously injured.

Police were called on Wednesday, 6 December at 21:20 hours to a report of a car in collision with a motorcycle in Glen Road junction with Prince Regent Lane, E13.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and found the motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man with a serious head injury.

He has been taken to an east London hospital and his injuries are described as life-threatening.

The car stopped at the scene, the driver has not been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.
