Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision in east London.
Police were called at approximately 16:45hrs on Saturday, 24 June to Upney Lane, close to Upney Underground Station in Barking following reports of a bus in collision with a car.
Officers, the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service attended.
The 58-year-old driver of the car was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a stable condition; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Three passengers on the bus were treated for minor injuries.
Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision.
