Appeal to identify man following assault

Police are appealing for information following an assault at a bar in Wandsworth.

Police were called just before 02:00hrs on Sunday, 18 February to reports of an assault at the Graffiti Bar on Garratt Lane in Earlsfield.

A 25-year-old man was hit in the face with a glass causing lacerations above and below his left eye.

The London Ambulance Service attended and took the man to a south London hospital where he received several stitches before being discharged.

The suspect is described as a slim white man, aged in his mid 20s, 5ft 7ins tall with short light brown hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and dark shoes.

PC Rob Clarke, from Wandsworth Borough, said: “This is a nasty unprovoked attack on a man who was dancing on the dancefloor. We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the attack to come forward.”
