Detectives have released images of a man they want to identify in connection with a sexual assault onboard a bus.

The victim, a woman in her early 20s, reported being sexually assaulted by a man on the upper deck of a Route 453 bus in the New Cross area of Lewisham on Thursday, 2 May.

The suspect boarded the bus at around 15:45hrs.

The victim confronted the man when she realised what he was doing, and he then went to the lower deck and got off.

Officers want the public's help to identify and trace the man pictured. He is described as a black man, around 40 years old, 6ft tall, of slim build, with a bald head.
