Xavier Lightbourne, 29, is wanted on recall to prison

Detectives in Lewisham are appealing for help from the public to trace a man wanted on recall to prison.

Xavier Lightbourne, 29, of Forest Hill in Lewisham, was released on licence from HMP Highdown on Tuesday, 14 August. An emergency recall to prison was issued on Tuesday, 30 October after he breached the conditions of his licence.

He is also wanted for GBH and two breaches of a court issued order.

Lightbourne is described as a black male with dark brown eyes and hair, around 5ft 10ins tall and of stocky build. He often has a distinctive black moustache. He also has a 'V' shaped scar on his index finger on his right hand.

Detective Sergeant Sam Bennett, of the Met's South East BCU Safeguarding Unit, said: "We urge anyone who knows of Xavier Lightbourne's whereabouts to get in touch.

"We believe he has links to Lewisham, Greenwich and Lambeth, and would like to remind the public that harbouring a wanted suspect is an offence.

"Anyone who sees Lightbourne should not approach him, but call 999 immediately."
