Detectives in Westminster Borough have released CCTV footage of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary in Mayfair.

On Monday, 17 April, police were called at 07:30hrs to a burglary at an apartment on Curzon Street in Mayfair. Five designer watches and a bracelet were stolen.

CCTV from within the apartment caught the moment two men walked into the apartment at 20:43hrs on Sunday, 16 April.

The two men left the flat just after 21:30hrs with bags of property taken from the flat.

Suspect 1 is described as a medium built white man, aged in his mid-30s with a bald head. He was wearing a black NY baseball cap, worn backwards, a cream/yellow coloured cardigan over a black jumper, blue jeans and white trainers. He was carrying a black Nike sports bag which is believed to have been stolen during the burglary.

Suspect 2 is described as a slim white man, aged in his mid-20s with short cropped black hair. He wore dark framed glasses and was seen wearing a black coat, blue scarf, blue jeans and white trainers.

Detective Constable Dan Jones, from Westminster CID, said: "The owner of the jewellery is extremely upset by his loss. Many of the watches taken were of sentimental value.

“We are keen to identify the two men in the CCTV footage so we can speak to them about the incident. We would also urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us."
