Death of 18-year-old man in Newham

An investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Newham.

Police were called at around 15:30hrs on Monday, 26 August, to a critically injured man in Chadd Green, E13.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man suffering stab injuries.

The man, believed to be 18 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene at 16:33hrs.

Next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination and formal identification will be arranged in due course.

An urgent investigation has been launched. There has been no arrest at this early stage.
