E-fit released in sexual assault appeal

Detectives have released an e-fit of a man they wish to identify in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in west London.

The victim, who was a lone female, was attacked as she walked along Avenue Gardens in Acton on Saturday, 27 July at around 19:30hrs. The suspect grabbed the victim from behind and a struggle took place before the man fled down Avenue Gardens.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male, maybe of Middle Eastern origin, aged around 20, 5ft 11ins tall and of medium build.

The victim did not suffer any physical injuries but was shocked and alarmed by the attack.
