​Fatal collision in Newham

Police are appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Newham.

Emergency sevrices were called at 17:42hrs on Saturday, 18 April, to a road traffic collision in Plashet Road near the junction with Lucas Avenue E13.

Officers attended the location along with London Ambulance Service, where they found a male motorcyclist who had collided with a lamp-post. The 37-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have informed his next of kin. Formal identification awaits.

Enquiries into the circumstances continue. There has been no arrest.
