Sixth man charged in connection with Greenwich murder

Detectives have charged a sixth man following a serious assault in Greenwich on Saturday, 17 February which resulted in the death of Jozef Boci.

Andrew Adekoya [F], 21 (3.9.96) of Maitland Close, SE10 was arrested on Sunday, 25 February on suspicion of murder. 

On the evening of Tuesday, 27 February he was charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 28 February.

Already charged in connection with the death of Mr Boci are:

[A] Oluwatimilehin Oniyitan, 20 (10.3.97) of Archery Road, Eltham SE9; was charged with murder on Saturday, 24 February.

[B] Ibrahim James, 21(31.12.96) of Plumstead High Street, SE18; was charged with murder on Saturday, 24 February.

[C] Dominic Brown, 29 (7.7.88) of Woolwich Common SE18, was charged with murder on Saturday, 24 February.

[D] Hugo Verdades, 21 (31.10.96) of Granite Street, Greenwich SE18 was charged on Sunday, 25 February with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and conspiracy to commit GBH.

[E] Abaraye Campbell, 21 (20.11.96) of St Margarets Terrace, SE18 was charged with murder on Monday, 26 February.

Jozef, 30, originally from Albania but living in Catford, was found unconscious in Greenwich High Road in the early hours of Saturday, 17 February.

He died from his injuries on Friday, 23 February.
