Further arrest following Croydon stabbing

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Croydon have made a further arrest.

A 21-year-old man [D] was arrested on suspicion of GBH on Thursday, 5 September - he remains in custody at a south London police station.

Police were called at 17:26hrs on Friday, 30 August, to Croydon High Street after a 21-year-old man was found suffering from a stab injury.

It is believed that his phone and watch had also been stolen.

Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service.

The man remains in hospital where his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.

Three men - aged 19, 20 and 22 – were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and taken into custody. They have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
