Detectives investigating a residential burglary in Chingford, Waltham Forest, have released an image of two men they would like to speak to.
On Wednesday, 12 September, between 07:45hrs and 09:12hrs, two males approached a residential address in Hampton Road, Chingford E14.
CCTV captured them jumping over a garage at the rear of the property and entering the house via a ground floor window.
Approximately £11,500 worth of jewellery and £4,000 in foreign currency was stolen, and around £500 in damage to the property was caused.
Investigating officers believe that the two suspects, who are described as white males with dark hair, were dropped off in a white transit van close to the property and left a short while later on foot, running towards York Road.
Detective Constable Rosie Doyle, from the North East Area Safeguarding Unit, said: “These two men took thousands of pounds worth of sentimental jewellery and cash. Not only were they happy to steal from these victim’s but they also caused hundreds of pounds of damage to the property as well”.
“I hope that someone in the area would have seen them before or after the burglary, or may know who they are or where they are from. Any information could really help our investigation and allow us to return the stolen goods to their rightful owners.”
