Officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command have arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of terrorist fundraising activities.
The man was arrested yesterday, Thursday, 10 January, after he attended a south London police station. He was detained under PACE and later released on police bail until a date in early February.
As part of the investigation, officers also carried out searches at an address in north London and an address in Hertfordshire.
The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into fundraising in support of terrorism and is Syria-related. Enquiries continue.
