A man who was arrested on 5 July as part of an investigation by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command has been released without charge.
The 20-year-old man was arrested at an address in south west London on suspicion of terrorism offences under section 41 of the Terrorist Act 2000.
Armed officers executed a warrant under schedule 5 of the Terrorism Act. No one was injured. Officers also carried out a search at the address.
The man was taken to a London police station and a warrant of further detention was authorised on 6 July at Westminster Magistrates’ Court until 12, July.
The man was subsequently released without charge on 10 July.
= This arrest was not related to the arrest of a man and woman at Luton on suspicion of terrorism offences earlier this week.
