A man has been charged following a stabbing in central London.
Police were called at around 15:34hrs on Friday, 4 January, to reports of a robbery in Edgware Road, Westminster.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man suffering from a stab injury to his leg. He also reported that his mobile phone had been stolen during the incident.
The 27-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was discharged later that evening.
A 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to a nearby police station, where he was charged the following day with Section 18 GBH and theft of a mobile phone.
He is Alhassan Koroma, 25, (13.03.93) of Garrick Drive, SE28.
Koroma will appear in custody later on Saturday, 5 January, at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
