Man charged with administering substance with intent

A man has been charged with administering substance with intent to four separate individuals between 2000-2008 in London.

John Radford (formerly John Worboys), 62 (30.04.1957) of HMP Wakefield, was charged via postal requisition on Wednesday, 1 May with the following offences:

- Two counts of administering a stupefying or overpowering drug with intent (contrary to Section 22 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861)

- Two counts of administering a substance with intent (contrary to Section 61 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003).

Each of the four charges relates to offences against four separate individuals.

Radford is due to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 23 May.

The offences were committed between 2000 and 2008, in London.

The charges relate to allegations made in early 2018.
