A 46-year-old man has today, Wednesday 28 November, been charged with terrorism offences following an investigation by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command.
Ganye Kwah-Driscole (12.12.1971) of west London was charged with five counts of encouraging terrorism, contrary to section 1(2) of the Terrorism Act 2006. He has been released on bail to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 11 December.
Kwah-Driscole was arrested on 26 June on suspicion of encouraging terrorism offences. He was released on bail pending further enquiries and subsequently charged as above.
