Misconduct allegations against a serving officer have been found as not proven.

PC Adrian Daly, attached to the Met's Specialist Firearms Command, answered allegations that his conducted amounted to a breach of the standards of professional behaviour in respect of 'use of force', 'authority, respect and courtesy' and 'discreditable conduct'.

It is alleged that during a police operation on 29 September 2015, at Easter Key Apartments, Rayleigh Road, E16, PC Daly used unnecessary, disproportionate and unreasonable force against a man who had been arrested.

The Panel at the hearing, directed as a result of an independent investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct [IOPC], found that the officer had no case to answer and the allegations were dismissed.
