Missing woman from Barking

Police are appealing for the public's help to find a vulnerable missing person. 

Stefana Otilia Malinici, 37 (Who is known as Otilia) has not been seen since she left her family home in Beccles Drive, Barking on Wednesday, 6 September.

The last sighting of her was on CCTV and shows her making a brief visit to a supermarket in Green Lane, Ilford on Monday, 9 October.

Otilia, who is originally from Romania, was last seen wearing a black top with a large light coloured motif, dark tight jeans or leggings tucked in to flat dark, mid-calf boots, and a dark coloured ¾ length fitted jacket; she has reddish bobbed styled hair.

Otilia may not be capable of looking after herself and is very vulnerable.

Otilia’s husband and two children are desperate to hear from her and police are growing increasingly worried for the safety.

DS Mike Rapp from East Area Missing Persons unit, said: "I want to assure Otilia, or anyone who knows her, that police are here to help and just want to make sure she is safe and well, she is not in any trouble; we are just concerned for her wellbeing"

"We are asking for anyone who may know Otilia to come forward, her family here in the UK and in Romania are very concerned and want to know that she is safe, we ask if anyone who has provided shelter or support to Otilia to contact police as soon as possible. "

Officer would urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
