UPDATED: Pensioner dies following collision in Merton

A pedestrian critically following a collision with a car in Merton has died.

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after the man, aged 76 was involved the collision at 17:40 hours on Saturday, 24 November in Colliers Wood High Street junction with Briscoe Road.

The man was taken by ambulance to a south London hospital where he remained in a critical condition. He died in hospital on Friday, 7 December.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. She has not been arrested.

No arrests have been made.
