Police name Hounslow murder victim and continue to appeal for information

Detectives continuing to appeal for information relating to a fatal stabbing in Hounslow have named the victim as 29-year-old Patrick Oyeri from Hounslow.

An inquest was opened and adjourned on Thursday, 7 September at West London Coroner's Court.

Patrick Oyeri was found with stab injures on Rosebery Road on the afternoon of Monday, 4 September.

Police were called at approximately 15:35hrs to the location following reports of a fight taking place between two groups.

When officers arrived, the groups had dispersed but officers found Patrick Oyeri suffering from a stab wound.

The London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance attended. Mr Oyeri was treated at the scene by paramedics, but they were unable to save him and he died at 16:18hrs.

A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday, 5 September gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the liver.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) led by Detective Chief Inspector Sam Price are investigating.

There are currently no arrests. Enquiries continue.
