Detectives investigating a noxious substance attack in Fulham have released a name and an image of a man wanted for questioning in relation to the incident.
Ameer Makame, 26, of Fulham Town, is sought by detectives after two victims were injured.
Police were called just after 14.45hrs on Sunday, 31 December to Waterford Road, Fulham SW6 to a report of a suspected noxious substance attack.
Officers attended. A 41-year-old man at the scene (Victim 1) was taken to a central London hospital with facial burn injuries.
Another 24-year-old male victim (Victim 2) was located at an address in Wandsworth. He was checked by paramedics.
Neither of the victims’ injuries were life-threatening and are not thought to be life-changing.
They had the substance sprayed at them as they sat in a vehicle. It was reported that there were two attackers who were on a moped.
Tests determined the substance to be ammonia.
No arrests have been made; enquiries to establish the full circumstance are ongoing.
