Detectives investigating the murder of Moosakhan Nasiri in Newham have charged two further people, as they continue to appeal for information.
An 18-year-old man [C] from Plaistow and a 22-year-old man [D] from Stratford have appeared at court charged with Moosakan’s murder. This follows the earlier arrest and charging of a 16-year-old boy [A] in connection with the killing.
All will appear at the Old Bailey on a date in January 2018.
An 18-year-old man [B] who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday, 18 October is currently on bail until a date in late November.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information in relation to Moosakhan’s murder.
Police were called to Plashet Park in Forest Gate at 16:07hrs on Sunday, 15 October to reports of an injured male.
At the scene, Moosakhan was found suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
The London Ambulance Service treated him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday, 17 October gave cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.
Detective Chief Inspector Jamie Piscopo, who leads the investigation, said: "Although we have now charged three people in relation to this murder, we believe there are still outstanding suspects and other lines of enquiry we are pursuing. It is absolutely vital that we speak to anyone who saw anything that day.
"This was a violent attack on a young man which happened in the middle of the afternoon in a busy park, and I would ask anyone who saw the incident to come forward and speak to us."
