UPDATE: Six charged with drug offences following morning raids

The following defendants appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 13 April for a preliminary hearing.

All are charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs between July 2017 and March 2018:

[A] Andreae Williams, 28 (11.10.89) of Long Elmes, Harrow;
[C] Ajamu Preddie, 34 (12.06.83) of Bollo Bridge Road, Ealing;
[G] A 14-year-old boy;
[H] A 17-year-old boy;
[I] Joanna Hill, 49 (22.01.69) of Nevern Place, Earls Court.

[B] Richard Matthews, 30 (3.02.88) of Clovelly Road, Chiswick also appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court charged with:

- Two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life;
- Two counts of possession of prohibited ammunition;
- One count of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs;
- One count of possession of criminal property.

Williams, Preddie, Hill and Matthews were remanded in custody and will appear at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday, 10 May.

The 14-year-old boy [G] and 17-year-old boy [H] were released on bail and will appear at Wimbledon Youth Court on Wednesday, 9 May.

The following remain released under investigation:

[D] A 34-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply;
[E] A 33-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods;
[F] A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
