Appeal following stabbing in Ladbroke Grove

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a teenager was stabbed in Ladbroke Grove.

The incident happened at approximately 21:30hrs in Elgin Mews, W11 on Sunday, 1 October.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was stabbed after becoming involved in an altercation.

London Ambulance Service attended and he was taken to a central London hospital in a critical condition.

He currently remains in hospital but his injuries are no longer life threatening.

His next of kin have been informed.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the investigation.

A 15-year-old man [A] was arrested near Latimer Road on Tuesday, 3 October and a 16-year-old man [B] was arrested after attending a central London police station on Friday, 06 October.

They have been bailed to return to a police station on a date in mid-October.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw or heard anything that could assist the investigation to contact them.
