Third man charged in connection with Camden murders

Detectives investigating the murders of 18-year-old Abdikarim Hassan and 20-year-old Sadiq Aadam Mohamed in Camden on Tuesday, 20 February have charged a third man.

[K] Anuoluwa Temenu, 18 [22.12.99] of no fixed address, presented himself at police in Islington on Tuesday, 11 September. He was subsequently charged on Wednesday, 12 September with attempted grievous bodily harm, grievous bodily harm and the murder of Abdikarim Hassan.

The trial of two males accused of murders of Abdikarim Hassan and Sadiq Aadam commenced at the Old Bailey on Monday, 3 September.

Following the arrest and charge of Anuoluwa Temenu, the trial has been set aside until March 2019.

[E] Isaiah Popoola, 19 (16.05.99) of Grafton Way, WC1 was charged on Sunday, 25 February with two counts of murder, grievous bodily harm and attempted grievous bodily harm.

[F] Ben Drummond, 19 (09.09.99), of Ingestre Road, NW5 was charged on Thursday, 1 March with the murder of Sadiq Aadam Mohammed.

[K] Anuoluwa Temenu is remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 17 September.

++ [G] A 17-year-old male was charged on Tuesday, 13 March with the murders of Abdikarim Hassan and Sadiq Aadam Mohamed in Camden on Tuesday, 20 February and violent disorder. The charges against this male have since been discontinued.
