Three people have been arrested and a Section 60 order authorised following a violent incident in Kensington.
Two of the three men injured in the incident were stabbed, but none of them is in a life-threatening condition.
Police were called at 18:54hrs on Saturday, 19 January, to reports of an assault at a residential address in Wilsham Street, W11.
Officers attended and found two 19-year-old man suffering stab injuries. A third man, also aged 19 years, had been assaulted. All three were taken to hospital, where it was established that none of the men is in a life-threatening condition.
Detectives from Kensington and Chelsea CID are investigating. They have arrested two other men - [A] 19 years and [B] 18 years - along with a woman aged in her late teens or early 20s, in connection with the incident. All three remain in custody at a west London police station.
Following the incident, a Section 60 order has been authorised for the Kensington and Chelsea wards of Dalgarno, Golborne, St Helens, Notting Dale, Norland, Pembridge and Colville. This will remain in place until 13.49hrs on Sunday, 20 January. The order is a preventative power that allows senior police officers to authorise constables in uniform to stop and search pedestrians and vehicles in the specified area, either where serious violence is likely to arise or has taken place, or it is believed that persons are carrying offensive weapons or dangerous instruments.
