The death of a man in Tower Hamlets in February is being treated as non-suspicious.
At around 08:30hrs on Sunday, 17 February, a 43-year-old man was found unconscious near Tower Hill station.
He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a nearby hospital where he later died. Police issued appeals for information following the death.
His next of kin have been informed and formal identification has taken place. We are not releasing his name at the request of family.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as trauma to the head.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been prepared for the coroner. An inquest into the death has opened and adjourned.
