Two males have been charged by detectives from Operation Venice investigating a moped-enabled phone theft in Edgware that has left a young woman fighting for her life.
A 17-year-old boy [A] and [B] James Hicks, 19 (10.11.98) of no fixed abode were arrested on Thursday, 7 June on suspicion of robbery.
They were charged on Sunday, 10 June with three separate robberies one of which was the robbery on Holyrood Gardens in Edgware on Monday, 4 June.
They were also charged with three counts of fraud, theft of motor vehicle, theft and possession of Class B drugs.
They appeared in custody on Sunday, 10 June at Willesden Green Magistrates' Court where they were remanded to appear at Harrow Crown Court on Monday, 9 July.
The victim of the robbery in Edgware still remains in a critical condition.
