UPDATE: Fifth arrest made in Tanesha Melbourne-Blake murder investigation

Detectives investigating the murder of 17-year-old Tanesha Melbourne-Blake in Haringey have made a fifth arrest.

A 26-year-old man [E] was arrested in the early hours of this morning (Friday, 12 April) on suspicion of murder. He is currently in custody at a north London police station.

Tanesha was fatally shot in Charlgrove Road, N17 on 2 April 2018.

There have been four previous arrests as part of the investigation.

A 31-year-old man [A] was arrested on suspicion of murder on 6 April 2018. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

An 18-year-old man [B] and a 22-year-old man [C] were arrested on Thursday, 14 March, on suspicion of murder.

The 18-year-old has subsequently been released under investigation. The 22-year-old has been released on bail until early-June.

A 50-year-old man [D] arrested on Monday, 25 March on suspicion of murder – he has been released under investigation.

Enquiries remain ongoing.
