Five men arrested following the murder of Kacem Mokrane in Walthamstow have been released under investigation.
Kacem, 18 and from Walthamstow, died on Monday, 20 November from injuries sustained after being stabbed in Mount Pleasant Road, Walthamstow on the evening of Thursday, 16 November.
Police were called to reports of a group of males armed with weapons at the scene at the scene at around 23:15hrs.
A post mortem examination took place at Walthamstow Mortuary on Friday, 24 November and gave the cause of death as multiple organ failure following a stab wound.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
On Monday, 27 November, a 17-year-old male [A], a 19-year-old man [B] and a 17-year-old male [C] were arrested at addresses in east London on suspicion of murder.
On Tuesday, 28 November, a 20-year-old man [D] and a 16-year-old male [E] were arrested in connection with the investigation, on suspicion of murder.
All five males have since been released under investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Whellams, leading the investigation, said: "Kacem was attacked and murdered in the street. Our investigation continues to make progress but I would ask anyone who has information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact my officers - it could prove vital to this investigation."
