Detectives have made an arrest following a serious collision in Camden.
Police were called to Camden Road at 22:07hrs on Wednesday, 4 December after a car was in collision with a pedestrian opposite Camden Town Underground Station.
The London Ambulance Service also attended and the pedestrian was taken to hospital. His condition remains critical but stable and his family has been informed.
The driver of the car involved failed to stop at the scene, however he subsequently attended a north London police station on Thursday, 5 December.
The 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving whilst over the prescribed limit. He was interviewed and released under investigation.
The vehicle believed to be involved in the incident, was found around a mile from the collision site and seized by officers.
