Fourth person charged with murder of Lord Promise Nkenda

A fourth person has been charged with the murder of Lord Promise Nkenda.

A 17-year-old [D] from Forest Gate was charged with murder on Thursday, 31 May.

He was kept in custody to appear at Stratford Magistrates' Court the same day.

Lord Promise Nkenda was fatally stabbed in Goldwing Close, E16 on Wednesday, 14 February 2018.

Three males - [A] aged 17; [B] 17 and [C] 14 - have previously been charged with the murder.

A trial date has been set for Monday, 13 August at the Old Bailey .

A fifth male, [D] 17, who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday, 19 February has now been charged as above.

An 18-year-old man [E] was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday, 8 March - he has been released under investigation.
