Appeal following stabbing in Lewisham

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a stabbing in Lewisham.

Police were called at approximately 23:50hrs on Saturday, 27 November to reports of a man stabbed on Alpha Road, SE14.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. An 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains – his condition is not life threatening.

An investigation was launched by officers from the South East CID.

Detectives believe that the man had been at party in the area prior to him being attacked. This party was attended by a large number of people and officers are keen to speak to any attendees who may have witnessed anything suspicious.

Detective Constable Lottie Williams, leading the investigation, said: “It is really important that we speak to anyone who attended the same party as the victim to fully understand the sequence of events that let up to this incident.
