Police investigating a stabbing in Tower Hamlets are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called at approximately 20:30hrs on Friday, 21 September, to reports of a male stabbed in Island Row, E14.
Officers attended the location along with the London Ambulance Service and found a 17-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to the back.
He was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Following initial enquiries, a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 17-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit GBH on Monday, 24 September.
Both males have since been bailed to return to an east London police station in late October.
Officers in Tower Hamlets are investigating.
Detective Sergeant Lauren Brady of Tower Hamlets CID said: “A young man has been seriously injured and we are working hard to piece together exactly what happened in the lead up to him being harmed.
“Although we have made an arrest, we know that there were many people in the area when the victim was found injured. I am appealing for anyone who with information to come forward."
