[Victim: Ebrima Cham]

Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in west London are renewing appeals for witnesses and anyone with CCTV footage from the local area.

Police were called at 11:28hrs on Thursday, 19 December, to reports of a stabbing inside a residential address on Grove Road in Hounslow.

Police, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended. At the scene, 35-year-old Ebrima Cham was found suffering from stab wounds; he was pronounced dead at 12:06hrs.

A post-mortem examination held on Saturday, 21 December gave a provisional cause of death as multiple stab injuries.

Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our investigation continues to move at a good pace, and whilst we have now charged a man, I need your help to identify two other men who were involved in the attack. I would like to hear from anyone who might have CCTV footage from their homes that could assist our inquiries.

"I am specifically interested to hear from anyone who lives on Grove Road, Hibernia Road, Hanworth Road, Nelson Road, Whitton Hospital Bridge Road and Montrose Avenue in Hounslow. I ask that if you have private cameras around your home or business, or ring doorbells, which were recording on Thursday, 19 December, I would be keen to hear from you. The specific times are from 11:00 to 13:00hrs.

“Residents may have been away from the area over the Christmas period and recordings will soon overwrite. Please take a look, save the footage and make contact with us. You may have inadvertently captured something really significant and it’s imperative it is shared with us."

Anyone with information is asked to call the incident room on 020 8785 8099 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
