Appeal for information following Greenwich stabbing

Detectives are investigating a stabbing in Greenwich.

Police were called at 18:16hrs on Wednesday, 27 November, to reports of a stabbing at Woolwich New Road.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended.

At the scene, a 17-year-old male was found suffering from stab wounds. He was taken by LAS to a south London hospital where his condition is not life-threatening.

At this early stage there have been no arrests. Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
