Appeal for witnesses after man stabbed in Haringey

Detectives are appealing for information in relation to an attempted murder investigation in Haringey.

At 13:30hrs on Friday, 30 October, officers were called to West Green Road, N15 to a report of a stabbing.

It was reported that three men were seen to attack two other men in the street before running off in the direction towards Green Lanes and High Road, N17.

London Ambulance Service also attended and treated two men aged in their 20s.

One of the victims remain in hospital in a stable condition. The other victim managed to escape without injury.

Detective Inspector Sal Minas from North Area BCU CID said: “This is a shocking attack that took place brazenly in the street, I am sure there would have been other witnesses to this act of violence.

“If you think what you saw might be insignificant, I urge you to contact us and report it. It could really assist the investigation.

“Bearing down on violence in London is our top priority and we will seek to apprehend those responsible.”

Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have been bailed pending further enquiries.
