Appeal for witnesses after man stabbed in leg in Newham

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Newham are appealing for anyone with information or footage to come forward.

Police were called at 06:11hrs on Friday, 5 August to reports of an injured man at Devalls Close, E6.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

At the scene a 39-year-old man had suffered a stab wound to the leg. He was taken by LAS to an east London hospital. We await an update on his condition.

At this early stage there have been no arrests.
