Appeal for witnesses after teenager injured with crossbow

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a teenager was injured by a crossbow bolt in south London.
Shortly after 22:10hrs on Sunday, 14 February, police were called to a report of a crossbow having being shot on Wilton Road, SE2, near to Abbey Wood Railway Station.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the location where a 17-year-old male was found suffering an abdominal injury caused by the crossbow bolt.
He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment where he remains – his condition is described as serious but stable.
It is believed that the incident took place at a bus stop close to the station.
There have been no arrests; enquiries continue.
