Appeal for witnesses to collision in Lewisham

Detectives investigating a hit and run collision in Lewisham are appealing for witnesses and anyone with footage to come forward.

On Monday, 1 November, at approximately 21:10hrs, a pedestrian was in a collision with a black coloured SUV on Vesta Road, SE4.

The car did not stop at the scene.

The injured man, aged 60, was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital where his condition is described as life-threatening.

Police are trying to trace the vehicle and driver, and are particularly keen to hear from witnesses who have dash cam footage, or residents with CCTV cameras that may have captured images of the vehicle.
