Arrests made after officers called to males injured in Romford

Detectives continue their enquiries into an incident yesterday evening, Tuesday, 28 May, which left a number of men injured.

Officers were called to an address in Eastern Avenue, Romford, at 21.46hrs and LAS took five men in their 20s to hospital.

One of the men – who had been stabbed – was originally thought to be in a potentially life threatening condition, however his condition is now known not to be critical.

It was also thought that the other injured parties had been stabbed, however it is now understood that one other male received a minor stab wound.

The injuries of the other three males are minor.

All five men are in hospital and are stable.

A number of arrests have been made in connection with the enquiries [no further details at this time].

Officers continue to investigate the circumstances which led to the men being injured.
