UPDATE: ​Counter Terrorism Command arrest in east London

A man arrested on suspicion of arranging funds for the purpose of terrorism contrary to section 17 of the Terrorism Act 2000 has been bailed to a date in July. 

Detectives from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command arrested the 27-year-old man under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act in east London at 06:25hrs on Tuesday, 23 June.

He was taken to a south London police station and released at 23:00hrs.

Police have now completed searches at an address in east London. 

Enquiries are ongoing.
